There will be an artist reception with Brown Beret member Francisco “Calacas” Alonso on Wednesday, March 28th, 5:30pm-6:30pm in the Cabrillo College’s Watsonville campus 2nd floor @ the Learning Center. Come see his series of 13 paintings and know more about the artist. There will be refreshments, snacks, and live music.

Francisco Alonso was born in Michoacán, Mexico, and came to Watsonville when he was 10 years old. He is a Cabrillo College alumni, and graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A in painting/art studio. His paintings have been shown in various galleries and schools in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Mexico.
