Temaktiani (honored teacher) Mazatzin will be visiting the Brown Beret Bike Shack on Thursday the 12th (1/12/12) at 6:00pm to bring our youth and community into the rhythm with cosmos through “An Introduction to Cosmic Identity and Responsibility” found in the Aztek calendar in preparation for the Return of KETZALKOATL which will occur in the June 5-6, Venus Transit through the face of the Sun.

ONE DAY IN THE COUNT OF TEZKATLIPOKA
Relatives, let me introduce you to the AMCS, the Ancient Mexika Chronological System: a Human Being Experience Towards Personal Transcendence with Global Consequences. This is an Astronomical Calendrical Map and Cosmic Clock, developed by my sons, Kalli Tekpatl, Abel Kozkakuautli and Ernesto Xe YeiKoatl, and myself. 10 YEARS IN THE MAKING it is an interactive calendar and clock to use on a daily basis keeping track of the qualities and potential in each given piece of time down to 18 minute units.
There are 20 day signs in this calendar system each with an Archetype that represents the mission of that day, and each day has a Respectable Cosmic Companion that represents the potential that exists in that piece of time. You will follow along to see what day it is and its Respectable Cosmic Companion as well as which 13 day period is current and what Archetype represents it to gather a sense of the mission of that time, plus see the night and winged companion of that day. You will find who guides the 20 day periods, the numbers and who they correspond to of the 13 Day Companions as well as the 9 night numbers and their Archetypes. This gives you a broader picture of the qualities, potentials and responsibilities that are present in each given day. The Cosmic Clock devides the day into 20 pieces of 72 minutes each indicating the archetype in that piece of time and whether it induces one into Creativity, Activity or Reflection.
The AMCS is designed to be read with our handbook the TONALAMATL, a Record of the Passing of the Days of the Sun, that we have published every year since 1993, that you can use every day and where you can find your own birth date on the Calendar which will introduce you to your Cosmic Identity and Responsibility.
Remember, this is not a horoscope nor superstition, rather it is a careful study of time and space and our responsibilities in accords with all the potential and qualities that were present when you took your first breath of life. Regardless of your nationality nor place of origin and notwithstanding the color of your skin or your eyes or your hair, this calendar system is about you and for your, it is your inheritance. And most importantly, remember it is not an Aztek thing, a Mexican thing or and Indian thing…it is the Ancient Mexika Chronological System: a Human Being Experience with Global Consequences.
